The Connecticut Barflies are an adult hockey club established in 2001 in New Canaan, CT. Players are invited to join The Barflies based on on-ice ability, in-bar boozability and overall contribution to the camaraderie of the team. Our roster is currently full, allowing us to ice 2 teams that participate in the Stamford Adult Hockey League, hosted by Stamford Twin Rinks. The Barflies also participate in various tournaments and are willing to travel for challenge games.

The Barflies keep the memory of “The Whale” alive wearing the colors of the NHL's Hartford Whalers, also sporting a Whalers logo as one of our shoulder patches.
